Week 9: Quesadilla and Homemade Guacamole

The dish that I decided to prepare is a homemade quesadilla and Guacamole.

Quesadilla translates to "Little Cheesy Thing" in Spanish according to Cacique, a Mexican cheese company (https://caciquedillaclub.com/quesadilla-101/). I based my recipe off of the one provided by Cacique.

Due to my lack of time and upcoming assignments, I bought some flour tortillas. I also purchased block cheese instead of shredded. Block cheese is cheaper than shredded cheese.

The next thing that I had to do was prepare the guacamole. I purchased three ripe avocados and one red onion. I cut the avocado open and squeezed out the avocado fruit.

Overall, I enjoyed my meal. It was super quick and easy to make. I liked that I could add more vegetables or other flavors to the quesadilla if I wanted to. For convenience, I did not add any meats or vegetables to my quesadilla. In the case that I have more time, I would like to add fajitas to my quesadilla. I felt full after my meal, so I would make this again.
