Ingredients
1 cup of brown rice
3 bell peppers
Taco Seasoning to taste
1 onion
Sour Cream
Guacamole
the meat of choice (I used a plant-based one)
Steps
1. Cook the brown rice
2. Slice the bell peppers
4. Cook the bell peppers and onions
5. Add Taco seasoning
6. Once soft, set aside and cook meat
7. Once meat is cooked, you can add it to your bowl
The brown rice added good texture to the bowl, however I feel like it was too starchy and sticky. It seemed to conglomerate at the bottom and didn't taste that great. Instead of brown rice, I think I would add cauliflower rice. Also, I think I would use a different kind of plant-based meat because it didn't taste that great. Overall the food tasted really good. I enjoyed the food that I made.
