Comparison of the Havard School of Public Health and the Nutrition Source and USDA
The Harvard plate shows that more vegetables than vegetables and more protein than grains. The USDA website also shows the same ratio as the Harvard plate. A difference between the two plates is the addition of dairy on the government plate and water and oil on the Harvard plate. I think that this is interesting because I think that oils and water are very important in order to have a balanced diet.

These plates are very similar that they include both the same ratios of fruits, vegetables, grains, and proteins, oil, and water. I don't really see any differences between these two plates. The only difference is that oil is included inside the plate from MFAM and the oil is on the side of the picture in the Harvard plate. I like that these plates have descriptions of the types of foods to eat within each grouping.
Comparision of the USDA and My Food As Medicine
These plates are very different in that the My Food As Medicine is very detailed while the USDA is not as descriptive.
Personally, I felt like the My Food As Medicine Plate was very good and detailed. I feel like with the information from this plate was useful because it gave substantive information about the types of vegetables, fruits, fats, proteins, and grains. My go-to meal does not fit the guidelines set out by the USDA, My Food As Medicine, and the Harvard plate because it does not include proteins. I guess the next time I make it I can include a chicken breast or nuts with more protein.
