Reflection
The steam rice with sausage represents Cantonese culture because it is derived from one of the most famous Cantonese cuisine, clay pot. This recipe is very similar to the clay pot sausage and rice recipe, but it is less complicated since I was using a rice cooker instead of a clay pot. This is the simplified recipe of the sausage and rice clay pot. I choose this simple recipe to represent the Cantonese culture because only Cantonese people like to steam the rice with sausage, and this taste very similar to the clay pot dish. The sausage I was using is the type of sausage that only exist in Cantonese culture. I have learned this recipe when I was 12 years old, I have been using the recipe since then.
