Tomato and stir-fried egg
Ingredients
Egg
Tomato
Water
Oil
Salt
Sugar(optional)
Tomato Sauce(optional)
Steps
1. Beat the egg in a bowl
2. Dice the tomato into 1/2 cubes
2. Add oil into a wok heat up with medium-high heat
3. Add the well-beaten egg into the wok and stir 60 seconds
4. Remove the egg from the wok
5. Add diced tomato into the wok, keep stirring until very aromatic
6. Add cold water into the wok, let it cook, when the water starts boiling, reduce the heat to medium, let it cook for 2 munites

7. Add salt, sugar/tomato sauce(optional), and stir for another 10 seconds
8. Add the egg into the wok and mix with the tomato
9. Serve with steamed white rice
Reflection
This is a very common and popular Chinese dish in China. I think it is very easy to find in Chinese restaurants here in America as well, but the cost of the dish in the restaurants is not as pleasing. Making the dish is super fast and super easy. I did not use any recipe from the website or any recipe book. I have learned how to make the dish when I was 13 years old. It only took me about 5 minutes to make the dish. Everything turned out very well. It is a very healthy dish, I did not add sugar/tomato sauce into the dish, because I want to make the dish healthier. It is also a good choice for a to-go meal since it doesn't take a long time to make and it is very and nutritious.
