Wildcard

For wildcard week I made a fruit smoothie. I didn’t follow a recipe, I threw in various fruits and yogurt and blended it together. I used half of an apple “sliced”, a full banana, a full pear chopped roughly, a slice of mango, yogurt, a little bit of frozen fruit, and some pomegranate juice.

 
This smoothie was delicious. I really liked the addition of the pomegranate juice rather than almond milk, which I normally use. The banana made it really creamy and it was nice to have the pear in there as well. I have definitely made better smoothies though. I think something acidic added would make it even better. Some pineapple and raspberries would really compliment the other ingredients and lighten the flavor up. Overall I love smoothies because it's an easy way to eat a lot of fruit and is often refreshing!
