Personal comments/Reflection:

The appearance of this Tiramisu is not that perfect, but it tastes really good. It takes only 20 minutes to make this simple and delicious recipe. Personally, I like this dessert, because it is not too sweet as most cakes. Normally Tiramisu is composed of layers of ladyfingers dipped in coffee layered with a mixture of eggs sugar and mascarpone cheese. However, it is difficult to distinguish the different layers on the picture I uploaded. For this recipe, I added a layer of ground Speculoos biscuits on top of the cake. Something I want to point out is that the ladyfingers were dipped in coffee for this particular recipe, but others could choose another drink such as espresso, wine or whiskey depending on the flavor they want to bring into the Tiramisu. In addition, it is important to refrigerate the whole preparation for at least 6 hours (or the whole night) before serving, so all the flavors have time to blend together and the ladyfingers will have time to soften.
The weekly technique has been incorporated in this recipe by adding a layer of ground Speculoos biscuits on top of the Tiramisu. I used the Speculoos biscuits as my wildcard because not only it makes the Tiramisu a bit crispy, but also it contains some ingredients such as ginger, white pepper, cloves that bring a new flavor to the cake.
