For this week's meal, I found a recipe on bakerbynature.com for Broccoli Cheddar Twice Baked Potatoes. After looking at the ingredients for the recipe, I noticed that I already had most of them already so it was very cheap to make.

The full list of ingredients are:
4 medium russet potatoes, washed well and dried
1 teaspoon olive oil
3 and 1/2 tablespoons salted butter, very soft
1/2 cup non-fat Greek yogurt
1/4 cup buttermilk
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
3/4 teaspoon chives
3/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon dried onion flakes
1/2 teaspoon dried dill weed
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1 and 1/2 cups cooked broccoli, chopped, divided
2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded, divided
This meal was super easy to make but it did take a little while because the potatoes had to bake for 1 hr prior to adding any other ingredients. Once I removed the potatoes from the oven, it was just a matter of combining the insides of the potatoes with the rest of the ingredients. When combined, I refilled the skins with the broccoli/potato mixture, topped them with more cheese, and threw them back in the oven for 20 minutes. Finally, I took the potatoes out of the oven and served them with sour cream and a salad on the side.

- ‘Summarize what you found and answer the following questions:
- Did you find significant differences? If so, what were they?
- The most significant price difference I found was the parsley. Besides the potatoes and cheese, Fresh Thyme’s prices were much cheaper than Walgreens. In addition to this, Fresh Thyme had a lot more options to choose from than Walgreens.
- Were you surprised by anything?
- I was surprised to see that the price of butter was much higher at Walgreens. Along with the butter, I was shocked that cheese was the same price at both stores. I would’ve expected them to be more expensive at Fresh Thyme.
- Will this influence your shopping in the future?
- From now on, I will avoid purchasing any of my groceries at Walgreens. While it is sometimes more convenient, the price differences have definitely influenced me to do all of my shopping at Fresh Thyme.
- Did you save any money? If so, how?
- I saved money by purchasing all of the ingredients for my meal at Fresh Thyme because everything was either the same price or cheaper than Walgreens.
