Shopping experience:
For recipe 1, I used all the ingredients from the shopping list except for the dried basil, and the salmon
For recipe 2, garlic powder, dried Basil, Salmon, black pepper was used.
Basically, I saved time and money by choosing these two recipes, because they both go perfectly together and have some ingredients in common (garlic powder, black pepper), so, I choose to make both recipes.
Most ingredients such as garlic powder and black pepper were cheaper at Aldi ($0.99).
Since Target is known as an expensive store, it was surprising to see that the parmesan cheese was cheaper at Aldi than at Target.
From this shopping experience, I found out that it was cheaper to by ingredients such as the garlic powder and black pepper at the Aldi store.
As you can notice from the cost savings above, I saved a total of $4.17
