Week 6

Creamy Mushroom Wild Rice from thesaltymarshmallow.com




Ingredients: 
- Olive Oil
- Onion
- Mushroom
- Garlic Salt
- Pepper
- Chicken Stock
- Wild Rice
- Heavy Cream

Process: Heat olive oil in pan and cook vegetables until soft, add seasonings, rice and broth to pan and stir while bringing to a boil. Once at a boil, cover and let simmer for about 15 minutes, after about 15 minutes remove rice from heat and let sit for about 5 minutes before serving.

Reflection: I thought the meal was very easy to make. I was also very tasty for how little is in it and how quickly I was able to make it. I also found this meal to be pretty cool because I've never used wild rice before, only jasmine at home. I'm glad I made this today as it was a very easy meal and I was able to make it and eat it in under an hour which allowed me to make it from job #1 to job #2 on time.
