For this week's meal, I decided to make a recipe I found on the website yummly titled "15 Minute Easy Margherita Flatbread Pizza." I chose this recipe because it required few ingredients and it was quick and easy to make.
The ingredients required for this recipe are:
While the naan was in the oven, I incorporated the weekly technique by slicing both the tomatoes and mozzarella. Once the 5 minutes was up, I took the naan out of the oven and placed 3 pieces of mozzarella on top, followed by a sprinkle of salt and pepper. Then, I added 3 slices of tomato along with another sprinkle of salt and pepper. Next, I put the pizza back into the oven for another 5 minutes and finished it off by broiling it for 2 more minutes. Finally, after removing the pizza from the oven, I topped it with the chopped basil and balsamic vinegar.
The ingredients required for this recipe are:
- Naan bread
- 3 pieces fresh mozzarella (sliced 1/2 inch thick)
- 1 tomato (thinly sliced)
- 6 leaves fresh basil
- 3 cloves garlic (pressed)
- 1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 1/2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- salt
- pepper

Overall, this recipe was a huge success! You can't really go wrong with a Margherita pizza and adding the naan made it very unique and tasty. It also only took me around 15 minutes to make and clean-up was very quick. While this meal was delicious, it didn't have the highest nutritional value so I paired it with a side salad as well as a protein shake. I left this meal feeling very full and satisfied.
