Recipe name: Egg Avocado Toast
I didn't specifically find a recipe for this, but there are probably hundreds on the internet.
Ingredients:
-2 eggs
-1/4 avocado
-whole grain toast
-butter
-basil
Reflection:
This is my go to breakfast in the morning. I make this often because I know I'm getting a good amount of protein (egg), carbohydrates (whole grain bread), fat (avocado), and plenty of nutrients (egg and avocado), so it's a great way to start my day! It's also very easy and fast to make. I turn the stove heat on medium-high and put a little bit of butter on so the eggs don't stick. Once the eggs harden a little, I flip them. I like my eggs slightly runny, so I make sure not to leave them on the pan for too long. This was my first time adding basil to it to spice things up, and wasn't the biggest fan of it so I probably won't be doing that again. I also usually add an apple or banana to the side. Overall, a super simple, filling breakfast!
