Crock pot Pork Chops

One of my family go-to is a crock pot pork chop that is then slowly cooked throughout the day after being braised or flash fried for a couple minutes on each side.

I made this for this Mondays night meal for the house, I started with thawing out the 20 pork chops then going through and seasoning them with season salt and some pepper. I usually like to add more seasonings but because of the guys I'm cooking for I limit the seasoning that I put on. I next heat up a frying pan and put some olive oil in the pan and get the pan nice and hot before then quickly frying the pork chops for a little under 2 minutes per side or until there is a nice golden brown color. After frying up all 20 chops I then get out the Crock pot and add the pork chops in and then fill with either cream of chicken and cream of mushroom or in this case just chicken broth. After then letting it cook for about 4-6 more hours the pork is fully cooked and then is ready to be served. This Monday I served it with a stuffing a side salad and rolls. The meal is super simple and is quick and easy for coming home after a later night of class or work to just open up the crock pot and enjoy. This also pairs very nicely with rice.
