Ham and Pasta
Ingredients:
Ham
Spaghetti
Lettuce
Italian Tomato Sauce
Sea Salt
Steps:
1.
Slice ham into thin pieces on the chopping
board.
2.
Slice lettuce into shorter pieces.
3.
Put lettuce into a pot with boiling water.
4.
Wait for 60 to 90 seconds, use the strainer to
transfer the lettuce to a bowl.
5.
Cook spaghetti with a pot of salted boiling
water. Stir the water occasionally.
6.
Use the strainer and transfer the spaghetti to a
plate.
7.
Put
spaghetti, ham, and lettuce into a bowl, add Italian tomato sauce on top of
them.
Reflection:
I made a very simple dish this week. Because I was sick for
a few days, I don’t have for complicated food, so I just want to eat something
simple. And materials I used, ham and lettuce, were both going to expire soon,
I do not want to waste them, so I mixed them together, it tastes really plain.
It is something I have never done before. This might be the plainest meal I
have ever made. But I did like it when I am sick, I think for someone who just
recovered from sickness, plain food is the best. And it also feels really good
to finish all the food in my refrigerator and have nothing left.
