Homemade Potato Chips
I am trying to reduce the amount of processed foods I eat while still enjoying what I eat. This process is tough when I am pressed for time, so I wanted a snack that I can eat on the go. This led me to homemade chips. I am also trying to be healthy, so I baked them instead of frying them. The process was great and I changed it up a little by adding some garlic powder for flavoring. The hardest part was making evenly sliced chips. It had a huge effect on cooking time. It is also very customizable, so I could change it up next time. I would highly recommend making your own chips because they have way less ingredients and are so easy.
The cooking technique this week is slicing. I used it when cutting the potatoes into thin slices.
