Chicken vegetable soup from Taste of Home: Slow Cooker Classics

For this week of the food blog, I decided to make a quick and easy to prepare chicken soup. I always like to prepare meals with my slow cooker because it allows me to get the ingredients ready in the morning or the night before then when I come back from class, I have a fully cooked meal. For this meal, I used a large can of diced tomatoes and a full can of tomato paste; however, this was too much tomato for me. Instead, I would have rather added more chicken stock to the soup. Overall, this was a very hearty meal that filled me up with just one bowl in addition to the toasted rye bread. To incorporate this weeks technique, I diced the green beans, chicken, and celery into somewhat large chunks to add to the soup.
